From Prison

The following documentation is provided to assist all inmates in the prison systems (no matter what states they are in) with the necessary information they will need to enter into Hope House, if space is available:

First you would need to know that we are a Christian based facility and structured as a support system only (see attached rules/guidelines). The admission process for Hope House consist of 5 requirements to enter:

1. You must be a recovering addict and/or alcoholic and have no unresolved violent issues.
2. We do not take sex offenders
3. You must send $314.00, (this covers 2 weeks rent and $50 to hold your bed), whether or not you need a letter of acceptance to present to the board before you can be released from prison. This will guarantee you a space at Hope House; make sure you can come here before you send your deposit, because it is non-refundable. We will need 2 weeks notification of the date you are to be released.
4. You need to know we are Christian based and by your signature upon entry into Hope House, (per NAC 449.154995), you will choose to attend Church at our facility and go out once a week to Living Grace Ministries.
5. You must send a copy of your most recent Tuberculosis test and physical examiniation before entry will be granted; see if you can get your caseworker involved in this process.

Should you decide to accept the above terms, we would need a complete application (see your caseworker), once the application has been approved, you would send your check or money order to Hope House Inc., and mail it to Hope House, P.O. Box 36611, Las Vegas, NV 89133-6611. Remember, this deposit is non-refundable, should you decide not to arrive on the day you are released or not to stay at Hope House. A letter of acceptance will be sent as soon as your deposit is received.

If you don't have the deposit, please have your caseworker contact Parole and Probation or the State of Nevada to see if you qualify for their indigent program. If you do, they will pay your deposit to enter Hope House.

We have no requirements as far as length of stay and there is no restrictions on work. I pray I've given you enough information, and I wish you all the blessings in the world.
